X線透過装置の併用
外観上からは確認できないパッケージ内のワイヤーボンディングやフリップチップ接合部を断面研磨する事は極めて困難です。クオルテックでは、X線透過装置で観察を行いながら断面研磨することで、断面位置の精度の向上を図りました。パッケージ内のX線透過写真から、対象物と周辺部との相対的な位置関係を把握しながら断面研磨（左図）。研磨した後のX線透過写真が右の図になります。

X線透過装置の併用により、ワイヤーボンディング部の高精度な断面位置出しが可能となりました。
